My name is Nate, Like anyone else I have had my struggles with physical and mental health. Throughout my 26 years I have never been lower in terms of physical capability and mental health as I was a year ago. ... However thanks to the guidance of Erin and team I have over the course of the last 4 months completely rebuilt myself in all aspects of physiology and mentality. I am now stronger than I have ever been in my life despite being in sports and the gym my entire life. Beyond the physical, I am now making major strides in my personal and professional life: At the time of writing this, I have just passed my physical test for joining the fire department, and am so excited for my next steps. Towards the start of 2024 I was feeling overwhelmed and overworked in my career and let out all my frustrations on the volleyball court. Unfortunately I overworked there too, and broke both of my legs at the same time. It was only then that I was forced to take a major step back from everything I was doing. I found myself feeling hollow, unable to do any of the things that brought me joy. I proceeded to struggle with my health issues for the next 6 months or so; heal, play, injure, repeat. This cycle left me feeling hopeless that I would ever recover, and destroyed my self worth. I went to many different doctors, different physical therapists, had numerous tests done, and despite all that never fully felt recovered or confident. It wasn’t until I started working with Erin at Twenty2 Fitness that I started to find real improvement. As someone who has spent his entire life being active, I know how important your physicality is to your mental health, but I never knew how insanely impactful it can be to have some real education and intention behind what you are doing. I have had training before, but Erin was the first trainer that I ever felt truly saw what I was struggling with, knew what my body was feeling, and even more so how to approach the problem holistically. The programs we have worked through together have made what can only be described as a miraculous change. I have seen mobility and muscle growth in a timeframe that I never knew possible, especially not for me, who has struggled with things like muscle growth and strength training in the past. Day one of training with Erin I was struggling with immense knee pain that kept me from completing basic tasks like walking up stairs or bending over to open shelves closer to the ground. Our first month of training approached this problem and my overall mobility and stability. Just like that, six months of diagnoses and therapy felt silly as I felt every session, (just once a week at this point) that my body was recovering and gaining strength faster than ever . By the end of the second month I had completely taken control of my life back. To say that’s where the story ends wouldn't do it justice either. The last two months (maybe three I’m not terribly certain on the timeline) have been built around my goals. Working with someone who understood not just my physical concerns but my mental health struggles as well has been a real relief as I worked towards full recovery. We spent time talking about what my goals were and planning how to get me there. My next step was building an insane physicality so I could quit my job and chase my dreams. I am so grateful that I had the support necessary to make that a reality. Erin wrote out a full program to get me into a body that could handle the strains of the job I want (fire fighting) and that program worked. If It wasn't for the full support of the people in my life and the dedication of Erin to helping me see this transition through I would not be standing here the man I am today. I can with full confidence recommend anyone interested in training come see Erin the miracle worker!

I’ve been training with Trapper for almost two years now, and I can’t emphasize enough how incredible both he and his training program are. Deciding to commit to him, his approach, and my personal goals has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.... When I first started, it had been 13 years since Id even stepped foot into a gym. From day one to where I am now, I couldn’t be prouder of my progress, and I am incredibly thankful for Trapper. He is not only encouraging and holds me accountable, but he also makes the entire process enjoyable.  I approached Trapper to help me train for my first marathon. Trapper listened and understood what I wanted to accomplish and helped me to get there. After the run, I sustained some hip injuries that really set me back.... Trapper was with me every step of the way and gave me the tools to workout other areas while my hip was healing so I didn’t lose all the positive gains I had accomplished leading up to the marathon. Trapper has an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology and has a gift of assessing strengths and weakness and focusing on form and technique. Through conversations and goal realization, Trapper helped me to understand the importance of strength training and balancing my workouts. After working with Trapper I’ve PR’d with deadlifts and squats. Trapper has a positive attitude, and a passion for helping people believe in themselves and achieving their fitness journey and goals. He knows how to challenge and motivate. He has elevated my fitness journey, helping me build strength, agility, and mobility while teaching me the fundamentals. The year began with my search for a solution to a shoulder injury. In our first meeting, Trapper listened to my immediate concern and identified the problem. During the following month of training for 100% pain-free range of motion, Trapper listened to me ramble on about my wanting to gain strength, agility, balance, bone density and drop excess weight.... Trapper has extensive knowledge in Kinesiology and a degree in Psychology, he has elite skills as a competitive athlete along with an arsenal of podcast-worthy stories and most evident, a heart to serve others. Beyond years of experience, he continues his learning. Trapper is sincerely interested in training his clients to achieve their best. He is genuinely concerned for each of his clients’ well-being. He devotes his full attention to each training session. Trapper engages in conversation at the first step into the gym. He asks insightful questions, listens, makes observations, offers instructions and feedback, and is always taking notes. Trapper designs each training plan with insight and intention. My top five list for the year 2024 includes my first 10K trail race and trap-bar deadlifts at 150% of my bodyweight… beyond expectation.
